History

Project Management Institute Denmark Chapter, PMI Denmark, is a nonprofit chapter of Project Management Institute, PMI, the leading global association for project professionals.

The chapter held its founding general assembly in December 1999 and was confirmed by PMI as an official chapter in January 2000. Since then, PMI Denmark has grown into a trusted professional community with more than 880 members across Denmark.

PMI Denmark brings together project, program, portfolio, PMO, agile, and transformation professionals from different industries and ways of working. Through events, networking, certification support, knowledge sharing, and volunteer-led initiatives, the chapter helps members grow their skills, exchange ideas, earn PDUs, and build strong professional relationships.

Our activities are rooted in collaboration, practical learning, and the belief that project management creates value for organizations, people, and society. We organize events and community activities in Copenhagen, Aarhus, online, and across Denmark, creating opportunities for members to connect with peers and stay close to the latest trends in the profession.
