Q1 2017 has been a busy quarter for PMI Denmark with activities such as: The General Assembly (March 22.), participation in Passion for Projects in Malmø (March 13.-14.) and the event with Professor Søren Lauesen about failed IT projects (January 25.). Furthermore PMI Denmark has also started training sessions for the PMI Young Professionals community, continued the important work with the new strategy for 2020 and prepared the 2016 annual report. You can read about some of these activities here in the newsletter, and we strongly encourage you to engage in activities such as these in the PMI Denmark community. Look up for the interesting activities and opportunities coming up in the next quarter.

Implement Consulting Group: How can you do projects in half the time – with double the impact?
Implement asked themselves that simple, but provoking question in May 2015. The aim? To rethink the way we lead projects and change that fact that only 30% of projects today succeed in realising the aspired impact. Since then, 3 universities, 11 pilot projects and over 1000 dedicated project practitioners have experimented with and co-created what is today known as the Half Double methodology. PMIs mission is to advance the practise, science and profession of project management, so we welcome this contribution and recommend our members also to get familiar with this interesting view on project management.
Meet Implement on 20th April 2017 and get first-hand insight into what they believe is the key to leading projects faster and with higher impact. A methodology that Implement claims not only is based on the latest research, but on what works in practice. Suited for a reality characterised by complexity, chaos and uncertainty. A methodology providing you with the principles, methods and tools you need to capture the potential of your projects back home in your organisation.
