Q4_2019 Introduction
Dear readers,
2019 is soon over, and it is time to look back on the year that went by! 2019 was a very special year for PMI in Denmark since we managed to start up two activities that has long been on the agenda for PMI in Denmark. First of all, then in spring we arranged the biggest PMI Denmark conference yet with more than 135 people signed up, and secondly then in Autumn we started up with after-work event activities in Jutland. At the same time, we continued with all the other normal activities such as after work events, CAPM training, young professionals' community, newsletters etc.
Looking forward at the year 2020, then continuing the success with the annual big PMI conference and further establishing the local PMI community in Jutland will be high on the agenda. If you are considering to get involved in the new year and want to help out with managing and arranging such activities, then do not hesitate to reach out by contacting PMI Denmark here.
We hope you enjoy the reading.
Merry x-mas and happy New Year!
The PMI Denmark Board

Sustainability transformations will be the headline for the coming decade. We are now entering a new decade. And sustainability has never been a more relevant, important or debated topic. It is no longer a matter of whether we believe that climatically changes are caused by human beings; it is more a matter of whether we understand and accept it – and whether we are willing to act upon it!

On October 24, PMI's Denmark chapter held its first ever event in jutland - Improve your Project and Team performance and maturity with the PMI methodology – Project Management best practices and digitalization.
Being this our very first event at a location other than Copenhagen we have to agree that it was a success. With more than 30 attendees and 2 esteemed speakers, the evening went as planned and this left the chapter members beaming from ear to ear.
This should only encourage us to continue where we left off and organise further events in Jutland.
