Leading Change
Tuesday, 25th June 2019
Q2_2019 Introduction
Dear PMI members and friends,
In this volume of the PMI DK newsletter, we put focus on change! You can read review of webinars about change from PMI, you can read about when change is changing from Implement Consulting Group, and you can read about the DICE framework that can be used as leading indicator of the likely success of a project.
Besides all these articles - and much more - then you can also read about the big full-day PMI Denmark conference that PMI Denmark arranged in April 2019. It is the first time PMI Denmark does such a big conference in many years, and it is in it-self a big change for the association to start doing that.
Enjoy the reading.

Q2_2019 Event review:Tetra Pak - Hard factors in change initiatives using the DICE® model
PMI event on May 20th, 2019
Speaker: Jan Esbjörnsson, Tetra Pak
Written by Alvaro Buxens
On May 20th we had the opportunity to get an introduction to the DICE® framework, a model developed by the Boston Consulting Group (BCG). A DICE ® score is a leading indicator of the likely success of a project based on objective measures. The DICE ® framework allows for consistency in evaluating various projects (even though the inputs are subjective) and the framework can be used to track projects, manage portfolios of projects, and force the right conversations. This seminar presented the DICE® model and its application to a recently completed change initiative in the speakers organisation. The event took place at Nordea in the Christiansbro offices where we were kindly provided with sandwiches and beberages sponsored by Nordea.

Q2_2019 Sponsor´s Article: When change is changing
Article provided by sponsor Implement Consulting Group
Authors; Rikke Kragelund, Mette Tofte, Thomasine Nilson Wrede and Kristine Sele Reinhard.
“The only thing that is constant is change.” (quote Heraclitus). One could argue that today, even more so than ever. We live in a world of constant change and complexity, which is increasingly challenging organisations in terms of operational structures, the leaders’ role within alternative structures, and how this influences the distribution of decision-making as the organisation undergoes changes.
Many organisations ask us the key question: “How might we continuously work with and plan for change when everything is constantly changing around us?” or put differently: “How can we as organisations plan and cater for the predictable unpredictable?”

Q2_2019 Leading in the Project Society DTU Summer Academy
DTU Event Announcement - Leading in the Project Society
29th and 30th August 2019 at DTU Business
Projects have become intrinsic to our lives. They permeate what we do, how we speak, how we think of our daily activities, how we construct our identities and, ultimately, who we are. In this regard, we organize our lives as a portfolio of projects – from a family vacation to a career move – and these projects shape how we are, act and relate to others. Living in the project society comes with huge benefits but also significant downsides, such as stress and the risk of ending up in depression.
Join Christian Thuesen, Anders Jensen and Joana Geraldi in this exciting course at DTU Summer Academy.
