PMI Denmark Chapter CAPM training in 2019 and repeat last year´s success
This year the CAPM training took place in seven sessions covered all the staples of Project Management and the 13 chapters of the PMBOK, spanning from Integrations and Scope, passing on Schedule, Cost, Quality and Resource, and all the way to Procurement and Stakeholders’ management. The sessions aim to provide the Project Management knowledge at the basis of the CAPM certification.
This year the group consisted of 25 dedicated students from many different nationalitites and 10 volunteer trainers with a total of 28 hours of course content. The course started the 10th of April and was completed by the 12 of June.
This year PMI Denmark gave 25 spots away for this training (6 ed. CAPM training), but we could have filled several classes with all the applications which just underlines the importance of Project management competences. This year again, we have an excellent group of young people, all top qualified and eager to learn. Combi this with seasoned PMs from top companies, make it free, then we have something. An important part of PMI is giving back but times like this, you also get a lot in return. Let us know if you want to be engaged in the Danish PMI chapter.
It is impressing to see how busy professionals have been keen in taking up the challenge and passed on the “baton of PMI knowledge” to an international group of 25 participants. All of them obtained a certificate of attendance and many will be targeting the CAPM exam in the near future.
This free training would not be possible without FLSmidth who sponsor location for the full training. After this training, close to 100 young professionals have received free CAPM training from the Danish PMI chapter within the last couple of years.
We expect to continue with this innicative next year.
