Many projects experience budget overruns and delays. Most project manager faces the challenge of foreseeing the future in our projects.
Often we face unpleasant Unknown Unknowns (something that we’re not conscious about – that we don’t know) that pops up.
Why not try to estimate the costs or duration of these? Many will claim, we can’t due that to the nature of Unknown Unknowns!
However, at this event Henrik Søndergaard will present a rather simple approach to estimate the Unkowns Unknowns.
By using the triple point estimation technique from The Successive Principle you will be able to get a backlog budget for Unknown Unknowns and get more Robust Budgets & Plans.
The successive Principle combines Risk Management with one of the best and simple Estimation Techniques. The Norwegian public sector has been using The Successive Principle by law since 1999 (Anslagsmetoden). Henrik K Søndergaard is a freelance senior project manager, IPMA Level B certified.
He has been responsible of execution of various large and complex projects within the wind industry e.g. new product development, outsourcing project, a large HW/SW platform project, business case analysis (Bill. €) etc. Henrik has been using The Successive Principle since 2005 and do speeches and training within this area.
