Implementation of biodiversity management project in a complex matrix organization (Ørsted)
Identifying the principal stakeholders and project benefactors in a project that is beneficial to everyone – and deciding on the direction of the project.
Biodiversity management is an emergent discipline within sustainability management and environmental management. Industry’s impact on biodiversity is recognized by authorities as an issue that must be handled, and employees and neighboring communities expect green companies to take active measures to limit impacts and increase biodiversity.
The presentation will focus on implementation of biodiversity management, a project with countless stakeholders in an environmentally aware organization of 6000 people, where the needs and requirements of the business areas within the company differ vastly. The main topics will be stakeholder management, benefit mapping and project scoping.
