PMI hosts a unique knowledge sharing event on agility in construction projects
PMI is proud to announce that together with Novo Nordisk we are hosting a new event concept. Selected peers will meet to discuss challenges and share knowledge about how to be more Agile in construction projects.
Date/Time: Thursday, 10th March / 12.00-17.00
Location: venue in the Copenhagen area
Apply for the event by latest Friday, 21st January by registering below & using the comment field to describe your experience & motivation for participating in this session.
This event is targeted at PMI members who have managed sizeable physical CAPEX investment projects (i.e. specificallynot IT, Opex and R&D projects). These projects are the archetypical project that the PMBOK has grown from and for and they are therefore close to our heart. But the world is changing, and as we see project environments get increasingly more complex, the usual good old waterfall project model is challenged. Agile might be the answer to some of these challenges, but agile alone is not the answer and at the same time Agile does not necessarily fit well with the waterfall model. Or does it?
The core concept of this event is to gather people who have specific knowledge and experiences about this topic for a full afternoon of case stories, discussions in breakout rooms and getting know-how from the latest PMBOK ed. 7 and PMI ACP. We will openly share challenges, experiences and knowledge and learn from each other.
The breakout sessions discussions will focus on these four sub-topics, which address different challenges when introducing agile in a waterfall project world:
If you think this sounds interesting, have something to share, and are willing to engage actively in an open discussion, we would love to see you at the event. Please register to apply and include in the comment field a brief description of your experiences and what you would share with your peers.
Please be aware that since this is a proof of concept for PMI on this new event format, there will be a limited amount of seats. We aim to design the optimal participant group in order to foster highly valuable discussion and knowledge sharing. We will respond to all applicants during early February and let the participants know the details of the event as we get closer to the date.
